Indian Blanket Flowers: When I see orange, I think and remember the children from the boarding schools, whose bones never made it back to their people. They return to receive their name so that their Spirit may travel on in love. My love for you is in the image of wrapping you in a warm blanket.

Prayer and Peace - Jeanette Vizguerra: While Jeanette was under the protection of the Church Sanctuary, the community rallied and marched to express their hospitality and support her to stay safe and remain steadfast in protecting herself and her children from deportation.

MEET THE ARTIST

SKY YARBROUGH

Sky is a multi-medium artist who has been focusing on photography and soft pastel work. Her passion began in 8th grade when she first took an interest in black and white film and darkroom processing. Sky moved from the Northwest part of the United States to Denver six years ago, bringing with her environmental awareness which is reflected in her bodies of work.
