About Cypherbird Projects

Theatrical & Multi-Genre Art - Imaginative, Original, Unconventional

Founded by Colorado playwright and theatre artist Lisa Wagner Erickson, Cypherbird Projects (formerly the Lulubird Project at Theater 29) is a platform dedicated to creating unconventional theatrical and multi-genre art.

From 2019 to date, shows and events have featured original works by over 45 Colorado creative artists, including playwrights, poets, visual and installation artists, fiction writers, and performance artists.

lisa Wagner Erickson

Lisa Wagner Erickson is a playwright, theatre artist, and occasional performer & singer whose varied experience includes singing at Red Rocks, performing sketch comedy at Boulder Theater, and plays that have been developed and produced across the United States.

She is the founder of Cypherbird Projects and the former owner and Creative Director of Theater 29.
